Welcoming all artists that use Fiber Reactive Dyes! At Colorado Wholesale Dye, we're excited to celebrate the sixth year of the Colorado 420 Tie-Dye Cup in 2020. We're so proud of how much The Cup has grown through the years - seeing all the wonderful, unique creations during Cup season is one of the biggest highlights of the year for us. So to those who have entered every year, we can't wait to see what you've made this year! And to those entering for their first time, welcome, and we're just as excited to see what you've been making!
To enter the 2020 Colorado 420 Tie-Dye Cup, there is no entry fee, and you retain ownership of your item. You pay for mailing your entry to us, and we’ll mail it back at our expense once the Tie Dye Cup is over. Items should be received at Colorado Wholesale Dye by Wednesday, April 15, 2020. On the 20th, our Peoples Choice voting will begin and continue until the final results and awards are given in early May. Late items will be entered into our Judge’s Choice portion but may not be eligible for our People’s Choice portion.
You can enter ONE item per person, whether it’s wearable or hangable or something unbelievable. There are no categories for entries, but we will be awarding special awards, that may including Top Wearable, Top Hangable, Best Use Of Color, Best Of Show and more. There are two main parts of the Tie Dye Cup - Judge's Choice and People's Choice. In 2019, we received over 500 unique votes in our People's Choice portion. 1st Place Winners of Judges Choice and Peoples Choice will receive a store credit of at least $100 at Colorado Wholesale Dye.

Please include a letter with your Name, return address, e-mail address and phone number. It is not required, but there is also the opportunity to share your info publicly along with your piece. If you choose to, you may include a website or other public contact information, a brief (1 paragraph) biography of you as a tie-dye artist to be shared publicly, and a description of your entry. If you would prefer to remain anonymous, please let us know. More information about what will be shared is available at www.grateful-dyes.com/rules.
Prizes will be awarded in early May. Winners will be notified by Email and postings on our website and social media platforms.
