Cheap Violet.
Cheap Violet is our new version of Cheap Purple but is quite different from our original “cheap purple.” The new cheap violet is “fluffier” than our old super dense cheap purple. It is a bit more stable meaning it doesn’t sperate out reds and blues quite as radically as the old cheap purple, but it still does separate out some pretty turquoise colors on the edges.
The color swatch representing this color was dyed at a dark (6 teaspoons dye powder) shade and a light (1/2 teaspoon dye powder) shade.
Flaws with this color: This color is sensitive to cold and does NOT work well in Ice Dyeing or cooler temperatures below room temp. Also this color tends to stain a lot in wash off making it hard to keep white areas white.
