Length appears to be right between "Crew Socks" and "Quarter Length" classification.
These socks do contain a small amount of polyester, mostly located in the sock cuff, to prevent sock sag. See photos for dyed example.

Bamboo socks
These are the best. They dye up solidly and I like the elastic cuff. I've had 7 pairs in rotation for almost a year. Finally starting to get a hole in one of them.
