Return and Shipping policy

 

Please read product descriptions before ordering. We try to be as transparent as possible in how we present all our products, with detailed descriptions, use instructions and particulars when necessary.

There is typically a 30 day time limit for returns after date of receipt. 

We cannot accept returns on blanks that have been washed or dyed. Please examine all clothing or fabric blanks before altering in any way.

Open or used dye cannot be exchanged or returned. Likewise with Auxiliary Chemicals.

If we make a mistake, send an item that is defective, or do not include an item in your order, we will replace or fix the mistake at our expense.

Note that tapestries and other Dancing Robin blanks are small batch manufactured and measured by humans, not machines, and are not perfectly square. We do not consider this a defect unless there is a significant (6in+) variance.

Clearance or ‘Shop Soiled’ items are items that are known to be defective. Defects to fabric include damaged fabric, stains or seems that are split.


If you receive an item and no longer want it, you can return it by contacting us, telling us what you are returning, and shipping your item(s) back to us at your expense.

 

 Shipping

We ship via USPS and UPS. The only shipping services that have guaranteed delivery dates are UPS Next Day Air and USPS Express.
The following services are not guaranteed and the actual day of delivery may be different than initial estimates;

First Class Mail
First Class Package (Now known as USPS Ground Advantage)
Parcel Select Ground (Now known as USPS Ground Advantage)

Priority Mail
UPS Ground
UPS 2nd Day Air
UPS 3 Day Select

Shipping estimates provided in our cart quote time in transit in 'Business Days'. Business days are considered Monday thru Friday and do not count Saturday and Sunday. Several times a year, Holidays may fall on weekdays, and the shipping services we use do not operate on those days, and they will not count as business days in transit. See below for a list of these days. 

We do not offer refunds on shipping cost due to missed delivery dates. If a package is sent via UPS Next Day Air or USPS Express with a guaranteed delivery date and it is not delivered on the guaranteed day, we will assist in filing a claim to refund the shipping cost. 

If we have questions about your shipping address or the chosen method, we will contact you via phone. If we cannot reach you we will hold your order until we can.

If we believe your address to be OK for both UPS and USPS, your shipping method may be changed at our discretion.

We cannot ship packages via any UPS service to PO Boxes. 

Shipping addresses are not manually entered by us and are pulled directly as provided in your order using our shipping software. Ensure you include your full address including any apartment or unit number. We do not offer refunds on shipping cost due to incorrect addresses. Any order received back to us that needs reshipped due to customer error will be subject to repayment of shipping costs. 

Missing Package

When we ship an order, if an e-mail is provided, we will send tracking information to you. Your order will be updated with tracking information once it is packed and ready for shipment. You may also get a tracking e-mail directly from UPS or from us via Pirate Ship.

If you feel unsafe about having a package delivered to your address, please have your item shipped somewhere that you know you will be available to receive it. If you have specific delivery instructions for secure delivery to your location, please provide them in your order comments and we will put them on your package where we know the delivery person will see them.


Colorado Wholesale Dye is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. This responsibility falls upon the shipper tasked with delivering your package, either USPS or UPS. If your package is missing, first locate your tracking information and contact UPS/USPS to inquire after your package. Then contact us, so we are aware of the situation. We do not automatically ship orders that have been claimed as lost or stolen. We can assist in filing insurance claims with UPS/USPS.

Shipping Days

Our shipping deadline is 4 PM MST/MDT Monday - Friday. Any orders placed after 4 PM MST/MDT will ship the next business day. Orders placed after 4 PM Friday, thru the weekend, will ship Monday. 
We don't guarantee we will ship your order the same day we receive it, but we do strive to ship orders the same day we receive them. It is very rare that an order placed within our shipping deadline doesn't ship that same day. 

The following days in 2023 are shipping holidays and packages will not be shipped, or moved along in transit, on these days.
